This page describes what AfterScreen collects, why, and who else sees it. It is written to be read rather than to be technically unfalsifiable.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you request the free guide or buy the app.
- Where you came from — campaign parameters such as
utm_sourceandfbclidif they were on the link you clicked, plus the page you landed on and the referring site. - Funnel activity — which steps you reached and when, so we can tell whether the product is working.
- Purchase records — the amount, currency and Stripeidentifiers for any payment.
- What you create in the app — saved plans, routines and your 14-Day Reset progress.
We do not ask for your child’s name, date of birth, photographs, or anything else identifying them. An age between 2 and 8 is used to choose wording and activities and is not stored against a child profile.
Cookies
- A signed identity cookie so the site knows which account you are, and can show you what you have paid for.
- An attribution cookie holding the campaign parameters above, so a purchase can be matched to the ad that led to it.
Both are first-party and functional. If a Meta Pixel is configured for this site, it will also set its own cookies. On the public pages (never inside the app) we may also use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used — scrolls, taps, where people get stuck. Anything you type is masked before it is recorded.
Who else sees your data
- Stripe processes payments. Card details go to Stripedirectly and are never seen or stored by AfterScreen.
- Resend delivers the guide email, where email delivery is configured.
- Meta receives conversion events, where advertising is configured. Your email address is hashed before it is sent.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it beyond the above.
How long we keep it
Lead and purchase records are kept for as long as the product operates, because lifetime access has to be verifiable for the lifetime of the product. Ask us to delete your data and we will, subject to the records we are legally required to keep for tax purposes.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@afterscreen.store and we will action it.
